Veriti was recently mentioned in the 2023 Gartner® Emerging Tech: Security — Emergence Cycle for Automated Moving Target Defense report. According to the report “Automated Moving Target Defense (AMTD) has the effect of obfuscating, reducing, hardening or changing exposed attack surfaces by introducing preplanned strategic change mechanisms, deception technologies, and other cyber defense controls”. According to the Gartner report , “AMTD incorporates four main elements – proactive, prevention-focused cyber defense mechanisms that continuously make changes to the IT environment, even before any threat is detected…and automation to orchestrate movement or change seamlessly within the attack surface.” As the report states: “AEIR technology has the power to revolutionize security operations by continuously monitoring for and alerting organizations to potential risks, enabling them to take proactive AMTD and AI-enabled steps toward mitigating threats before they cause damage.”
